機内でお祈り

　イスラム教徒が機内でどうこうしたということではない。座席背面のポケットをあさると、機内誌は無いが、お祈りを書いたリーフレットが出てきた。ムスリム、ヒンディー、プロテスタント、カトリック、ブッディスト用にそれぞれお祈りの言葉が書かれていた。・・・といっても理解できたのは英語で書かれていたキリスト教ものだけだが。どれどれ、と覗いてみると、カトリックのが結構沁みた。（なんせカトリック系の高校出身だし・・・）。ちょっと転載：

 

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Long ago You save the children of Israel who crossed the sea with dry feet. And three wise kings from the East received Your command with the guidance of a star. We beg You. Bless us with the guidance from your angels, so that crew of this aircraft will lead us to our destination safely. We also hope that our family remain happy and peaceful until we land safely.

Blessed be Your name, now and forever. Amen. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

 

とまあこんな具合。先進国のwell organized エアラインならこんな気にはならないのだが、明らかにこの国のエアラインはリスクが高そうなんで。たしか昨年6月には、安全運航体制不備と評価されて、インドネシアの全エアラインがEUへの出入り禁止措置を受けたわけで・・・。それがどうにか、ガルーダなど４社が乗り入れ許可をもらったのが秋だったか・・・。お祈りが沁みるわけである。
